20 Free Core Hours Every Month!

October 24th, 2011 by Ken Elkabany

Starting this month, all users will get 20 c1 core hours worth of credits each and every month.

  • If you ran out of your original 5 core hour credits, you can come back and play around some more!
  • If you have minimal computing needs, this means that you can now use PiCloud regularly without even having to enter a credit card.

Looking for more? Don’t forget, we’re giving away $500 worth of credits as part of our Academic Research Program. Applications are due this Thursday, October 27th.

Hi there, can we use this credit on other core types? For example, instead of 20 hours of c1, 3 hours of m1?

  3. Ken Elkabany says:

@Burak Yes. Your account is credited with the dollar equivalent of 20 c1 core hours, but you can use any cores.

  4. Jeremy says:

I was just about to submit a ticket saying that I erroneously got my $1 credit a second time when I saw this post. This policy has made it so much easier to run tests and get set up with the service, I can’t even tell you.

Hey, the front page still says 5 core hours. Advertise this, it’s awesome!
